Turn your texts, PPTs, PDFs or URLs to video - in minutes.
Creating video is pretty daunting the first time you take it up. Visual creation requires an eye for composition, balance and aesthetic. On top of all that, you need to master another dimension, time! Traditionally, video editing products rely on a timeline, a well established paradigm. It’s powerful and yet quite technical. It’s mastered by people who have invested time to understand the codes of video editing.
When we developed Synthesia, we set out to democratize video creation and saw in generative AI the opportunity to make it accessible to a wider audience.
We’ve been quite successful at this as approximately 70% of our users tell us they have no or little experience with video creation yet find our platform intuitive to use. Part of what makes Synthesia easy to use is its focus on narrative: if you can write the story you want to tell, we can help you create a great video.
With the launch of Triggers, we’re taking this focus on the narrative one step further. Triggers is our take on the UX for manipulating time in your video. It keeps you grounded in your narrative, allowing you to turn elements such as words, shapes or media into movement by timing things semantically. It lets you edit your narrative and magically get everything moving at the “right” time with no additional effort.
Here is a demonstration of how Triggers work:
We believe Triggers are the right paradigm for a new approach to video editing, centered on your storytelling.
The feature is available now for all users - give it a try and let us know what you think!
