Kevin A big part of your video’s success is picking the right actor for your video. I’ll show you how to pick the right avatar and voice for your project. As a first step, I want to choose the avatar that I want for this audience. Here to help me is our friend Dalel. Would you like to take over?
Dalel It’s a good idea to think about your audience when choosing an actor. Decide their wardrobe and which look would grab your audience’s attention and matches the content.
I’ll click on the avatar and then click on the “Replace Avatar” button to find the right one for me. I have a more casual audience so I’ll use my friend Alisha. To make sure that she replaces the avatar in the template on all of my slides, I’ll click on “Change All” at the bottom.
Next, I’ll make sure that I find the right voice for Alisha. To do this, I can click on the “voice button” in my script box.
You’ll see a list of recommended voices for this avatar, but you can click on the preview button next to each voice to select the right one for you. Think of this process like holding auditions, but you can always change your mind later. We don’t mind.
Finally, I have three framings for my actor. I can choose full body if I want my actor to take up a lot of space on the screen. I can choose circle to make room for big graphics or screen recordings, and I have voice if I want them just to talk over the scene and take away anything that might distract my viewer from what I’m trying to show.
Kevin Now that I have the right avatar, I’m ready to add in our script for each scene.
