Collaborating with Workspaces

Emory Sometimes your video projects are going to require a team effort.  Maia, can you help me out?

Maia Sure thing, Emory.  In STUDIO, you can create together.  Let me show you how.

Workspaces allow you to create projects that everyone can see. To get started, click on the dropdown menu in the corner of your dashboard and select your team name. This will open the workspace home.  If you want to see  other productions, simply click on the "workspace" button. You can also create folders for different teams by clicking “New Folder.” Let’s make one for just our learning team. Now any project that I create in this workspace folder will show up for everyone allowing us to collaborate on projects.

Emory But, what if some people on your team aren’t designers and just need to review your video and add comments?

Maia Don’t worry, you can also do that in workspaces.

Once your video is generated and has appeared in the workspace.  Your colleagues can add timestamped comments for the whole team to see. To add your comments, watch the video and when you want to drop in a note, start typing in the comment box and click on the button to leave your notes.  You can also tag someone on your team if there’s someone specific you’d like to call out.

Now creating video can really be a team effort.
