By integrating Crowdin, you can easily request translations for your Synthesia videos and sync them back with just a few clicks. Synchronization can be fully automated if you prefer all your videos to become multilingual with minimal human involvement, helping you reach global audiences faster and more efficiently.

How does this integration work?

Crowdin requires a Synthesia API key to communicate with your Synthesia account. Once integrated, it would allow you to select the videos you want to translate. Once the translations are complete, you can send them to Synthesia manually or automatically. Synthesia will then automatically generate localized videos. On the Crowdin side, you have world-class translation management tools and can combine AI-driven translations with human review to achieve the quality you expect.

Setting up the Synthesia connector

After installing the application, you will find it in your project Integrations section.

Follow the instructions on the screen to connect your Synthesia account.

Manual synchronization

To import content for translation from Synthesia, follow these steps:

• Open the Synthesia integration.
• In the Synthesia section (right panel), select the files that should be translated.
• Click Sync.

To export translations to Synthesia, follow these steps:

• Open the Synthesia integration.
• In the left section, select the files that will be synced to Synthesia.
• Click Sync to Synthesia.

Auto content synchronization

To automatically import content for translation from Synthesia choose files and click Scheduled sync in the right panel in the Synthesia integration. The file you chose will be pushed once at a scheduled time (by default, it is done once a day). The same button is used to export translated files from Crowdin to Synthesia (in the left panel). You may disable this by clicking Disable Sync.
